Our core offering, Cutting Edge Core is designed to build a broad foundation.

Cutting Edge Core - Students learn computing basics and gain a meaningful understanding of technology at a base level. We meet students where they are at so it may differ from student to student. Starting from the most basic: How to use a mouse, open programs, documents, save, compress and uncompress files, download and upload, etc...

Students will be working in Unity 3D, a video game development platform and Microsoft Visual Studio to write C# code. They will learn 3D Modeling using blender, as well as rigging, animation, and texture painting.

Students will also learn digital art from photo manipulation using Photoshop or Photopea if the student does not have an Adobe subscription, to video production, and more. Students will get the opportunity to get hands on experience with the new AI driven technology as it comes out. There are many emerging technologies coming out such as Midjourney, Blockade LabsStable Diffusion for AI art generation tools as well as the new Visual ChatGPT style AI, AI to Video apps, AI to 3D Modeling, etc...

Students will work with Rachel, our state of the art A.I. to get project instructions, explanations of lessons and individual help on projects. Students learn that even though there is an A.I. who can write code for them when they ask, they have to have a solid understanding of coding themselves to be able to do anything with it.
